Karaoke In The Country Isn't Like Karaoke In The City
Country Life Realization: I have never heard most of the songs selected by karaoke singers in country karaoke places. It's a VERY different sound experience than karaoke places in the city.
Okay, so maybe this is a little premature since I've only been to two karaoke nights in central Texas. I'll admit that. But on both nights, most of the songs people sung were ones I have NEVER heard before. I've listed to country, and I like country, but my country listening preferences have been limited to Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks, and Carrie Underwood.
I don't think my karaoke choice was very popular. Twisted Sister's 'We're Not Gonna Take It' didn't blow them away.

C'mon . . . you need to check out King George (George Strait), Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, and I could really see you belting out a Reba McEntire song!
